How to get to OAKDALE?
Oakdale, California is a small town in the center of California, there is no airport there. The best airports to fly into are SMF (Sacramento) and SFO (San Francisco). Both are about a 1.5 - 2 hour drive from Oakdale. SMF is often the more convenient choice, since the drive is a bit shorter and avoids Bay Area traffic. There's no convenient public transportation to Oakdale, so you'll need to rent a car.
If you're considering an Airbnb or VRBO, we'd suggest Knights Ferry or somewhere along the river. The surrounding towns are more scenic than the options closest to the venue.
What to Do
Oakdale is the "Cowboy Capital of the World." There is a one room museum in town that you can visit.Â
Oakdale is about 1.5-2 hours west of Yosemite National Park.Â
